With all the new updates and features that have been added since this app came out, the cost is minimal. I love the fact that my iPhone and iPad Pro both have “touch” so now I don’t even have to remember the Master Passwood! My information got hacked in the Equifax mess. I immediately went to the vault to the file labeled FINANCIAL and change those passwords first. Then the CREDIT CARD file and on down the line of folders in order of importance. I’ve had to use customer service several times over the years and every time they have been extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and incredibly helpful. You have to be doing something right to have almost 23,000 reviews and a rating of 4.8.
I have had Keeper for many years as well as multiple mobile phones, multiple laptops, desktops and iPad. Every time it has been completely seamless to load everything from one device to another. I backup at least once a week to all other devices and also to the cloud. There is absolutely no way to remember all the passwords I have unless I used the same one for all applications. Now wouldn"t that be fun to get to change everyone every time the 6 that are changed every 6 months! Worth every penny I have spent over the years.

I called the Keeper team today, and the representative I spoke to was very professional and concerned. She was a pleasure to speak with. The problem is a certain audit feature that we like being removed from the family plan. I sent a request to have it added back. We have been using Keeper for a longtime now and are very happy with it. We love the new Fill feature and more. Keeping all computers and devices secure is so important. Making it easier on many devices is paramount. Especially for people that aren’t very technical. I’m a very technical artistic person that is always thinking about improving devices and more. Think about family with children and having a way to audit weak passwords easily especially today with so many passwords. This will help so a bully or predator can’t guess an easy password cause all kind of mayhem for the family. Password security is so important now with so many online accounts and services on various devices. Some still use silly passwords. Biometric systems, secure keys, encrypted storage, and more will improve over time. I hope more ideas come to fruition and companies speed up deployment. Sorry for the long post and I could add so much more, but I will stop.🤪 Always Thinking🧐🤓😀

I rely on this app a lot, maybe too much. I use it to store ALL my passwords and I like the fact that I can organize into folders. I’ve got folders for banking, travel, shopping, medical, and more. My only concern was the fact that recently the app wasn’t working, it wouldn’t open so I couldn’t retrieve any of my user ids or passwords. I tried all sorts of resets with the phone and the app but nothing worked. I couldn’t reach anyone that actually helped for about 3 or 4 days. They had to reset my account on their end and they provided no explanation as to what happened. I was very concerned that I was going to lose everything and start all over resetting passwords everywhere; it was a nightmare. When I finally did get someone to reset my account they were non-apologetic and very nonchalant, I did not feel comfortable that my information was safe and secure or that this wouldn’t happen again. Again, they did not provide an explanation for why this may have happened and this is a service (app) that I pay for annually. And, I e been a customer for a few years. Anyway, I am sticking with them for now, but, I’ll be looking for something else.

Конечно, нельзя, но мы доверяем… А как же иначе, если вся наша жизнь переместилась в цифровой формат и не просто цифровой, а мобильный. Дошло до того, что некоторых уже лечат от смартфонозависимости.
С помощью гаджетов пользователи переводят деньги, хранят самое сокровенное на множестве аккаунтов, и это не только фото, и для всего этого надо помнить пароли, причем для каждого сервиса желателен разный. Можно поступить по старинке и записать оные в блокнот, но, ребят, я тоже олдскул, и это несерьезно. Другой вариант – воспользоваться десктопным хранилищем, благо их много, но удобнее держать сокровенное в смартфоне. Хотя штука это ненадежная, его могут украсть, да и интернет-мошенники на стреме.
Именно поэтому, пусть и с опаской, я решил рассмотреть приложения класса «Password Safe», но только проверенных разработчиков, чтобы выбрать лучшее.
Далее речь пойдет о диспетчерах паролей Keeper Security, BlackBerry Password Keeper и Kaspersky Password Manager. На мой взгляд, разработчиков представлять не надо, все они на слуху и условно внушают доверие. Почему условно? Больно уж их корпоративные руки стали длинными, однако на данный момент нас интересует лишь то, насколько хорошо реализованы приложения.
В качестве тестового оборудования использовались:
Keeper можно назвать этаким эталоном в среде менеджеров паролей, так как оно умеет все, что должно уметь такое приложение. Программа сертифицирована соответствующими органами (TRUSTe и SOC-2) и даже запатентована под несколькими номерами, но не суть. Суть в том, что мы можем не только хранить пароли, но и генерировать их и безопасно вставлять на веб-станицы – это ли не мечта обленившегося обывателя, который постоянно куда-то неспешно спешит.
Реализована защита отпечатком пальца, облачное хранение, работа с носимыми устройствами и возможность скрыть личный контент в специальном хранилище. Совместимо данное приложение чуть ли не со всеми версиями Android, весит в системе около 40 Мбайт, постоянно обновляется и предполагает донат, но об этом позже.
Первое, что Keeper предлагает при запуске, это зарегистрироваться посредством электронной почты и создать мастер-пароль, который крайне не рекомендуется забывать, ведь восстанавливать его тот еще геморрой. При этом сразу активна защита от скриншотов, что радует и огорчает одновременно, так как наглядно процесс запуска не продемонстрируешь.
Сразу отмечу, что программа условно-бесплатна (есть 30-дневный пробный период без необходимости оставлять данные банковской карты). Простая версия предполагает защиту только одного устройства и в ней нет резервного копирования, тогда как платная позволяет защищать неограниченное количество гаджетов, сохранять безлимитно пароли, делать «бэкап», а также обмениваться паролями с близкими и получать круглосуточную техподдержку. Впрочем, для себя любимого достаточно и бесплатной версии (благо стоит платная больше тысячи рублей).
Для начала обратимся к настройкам. Первое, что я сделал – разрешил скриншоты, однако это не означает, что так надо делать и вам, точнее, делать это вообще не надо.
Из интересного отметим активацию возможности быстрого и безопасного ввода паролей в приложениях и на сайтах, для чего «хранителю» надо дать соответствующие разрешения (для Android 5.0 или выше), режим самоуничтожения данных после пяти неудачных попыток ввода пароля, сброс пароля и настройка количества итераций PBKDF2, что наглухо шифрует ваши пароли.
Однако у этой медали есть и обратная сторона – для Edge и Safari доступно не более тысячи итераций, если поставить больше, то с вводом пароля через Keeper могут быть проблемы. К слову, сам разработчик об этом предупреждает.
